1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve a file, conduct an official check, or submit documents for a user.

Its content identifies the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office, Iowa District Court clerk, Iowa DCI repository, Iowa Sex Offender Registry, and other sources that keep distinct records. Some pages also connect readers with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Interfere with performance or prevent others from accessing the pages
• Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against the site
• Attempt unauthorized entry into systems or restricted areas
• Use content for hiring, housing, credit, lending, or insurance decisions

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Iowa Code chapter 692A governs the Iowa Sex Offender Registry and its public use. Registry data supports awareness and safety, not vigilantism, retaliation, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination. 4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, consumer reports, or background checks. Our services and those advertised here are not designed for evaluating job applicants, rental applications, insurance, or credit. You must not use site or linked-tool data to:

• Perform any other activity governed by the FCRA
• Set an insurance premium or assess creditworthiness
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Make a hiring or firing decision

Any legally permitted check for a regulated purpose must come through Iowa DCI or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA and all applicable law.

Iowa law governs these terms. The Iowa Open Records Law, Iowa Code chapter 22, applies to requests made to public custodians, while chapter 692 governs criminal-history dissemination and challenge rights. Those public-record laws do not make this private site a government records office. Any dispute tied to site use must be filed in an Iowa court.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. The affected provision is adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
